The XLS-B Unicorn bag is our largest fruiting bag, made for bigger batches of bulk substrate. At 60 x 24 cm it gives you plenty of room to mix grain spawn and substrate, and its 5 micron filter patch provides the gas exchange mycelium needs to colonize and fruit.

What is the XLS-B Unicorn bag used for?
Use the XLS-B for larger substrate volumes: combine colonized grain spawn with a coir-vermiculite mix, seal the bag and let it colonize. It is the bag we use for our own 4000cc and 6000cc substrate mixes.
For smaller batches, the 3B Unicorn bag (48 x 20 cm) has the same filter. For grain spawn, choose a 0.2 micron spawn bag such as the 3T or 10T with injection port.
Sealing tip
Close the bag above the filter patch with an impulse sealer for an airtight seal.
