Description
This sterilized corn grain spawn bag (2000cc) contains hydrated corn in a Unicorn spawn bag with a 0.2 micron filter patch and an injection port. It is ready to inoculate as soon as it arrives.
Why Use Sterilized Corn Grain Spawn?
Preparing grain yourself takes hours of soaking, simmering and pressure cooking. However, this sterilized grain is already done for you. As a result, you can start a grow on the day it arrives. In addition, the injection port lets you inoculate without opening the bag.
How to Use It
- First, wipe the injection port with alcohol.
- Next, inject 5–10 ml of liquid culture with a sterile 18G needle.
- Then let the bag colonize at room temperature.
- After that, break up the grain once it is about one-third colonized.
- Finally, mix the colonized grain with coco coir substrate.
