Description
This impulse sealer for mushroom bags has a 400 mm sealing length and a 5 mm seal strip. It closes Unicorn bags and spawn bags with an airtight, tamper-proof seal. In addition, it has adjustable timer and heat settings.
Why Use an Impulse Sealer for Mushroom Bags?
A good seal keeps contaminants out of your bags. Tape or clips can leave small gaps. However, an impulse sealer melts the bag shut along a clean line. As a result, your grain spawn and substrate stay protected.
How to Use It
- First, set the timer to suit the thickness of your bag.
- Next, place the bag opening above the filter patch on the seal strip.
- Then press the arm down until the light switches off.
- Finally, hold it for a second so the seal can cool.
The impulse sealer fits all our Unicorn bags, including the XLS-B. Read our guide on how to grow mushrooms or learn about heat sealers.
Because the impulse sealer for mushroom bags only heats while you press the arm down, it stays cool between seals and uses little power.
